How to request the video recording of a lecture?

 

  • Create an event in Indico and in the management area for this event, go to the "Services->Logistics" menu item, and click on the "Webcast/Recording"  and fill the form. Note that when the type of the Indico event is Meeting or Conference, you will need to add contributions to the timetable of the event, else the recording request will be rejected. If you don't need contributions, convert your event to the Lecture type.
  • at least 2 weeks before the event
  • Please note that it is your responsibility (as organiser of the event) to request from the speaker his/her authorisation for being recorded or broadcasted, however Indico provides a handy interface to collect these authorisations in an electronic way. The recording will not be published before all authorisations are collected
  • The recorded web lecture will be published in CDS. The video will be stored with the same access restrictions as the Indico event in CDS and directly accessible from the corresponding Indico page
