The HEPiX workshop (https://www.hepix.org) takes place twice per year, generally once in Europe and once in North America or Asia.

What this role does:

• Coordinate CERN’s participation to the HEPiX workshops (https://www.hepix.org/) held twice per year: identify topics of interest from CERN for the HEPiX community and organize participation from CERN (list of participants and topics, internal deadlines, review of abstracts, etc.)
• Put together and present the CERN site report at each HEPiX workshop
• Become a member of the HEPiX board and represent CERN in the discussions about the planning and organization of future HEPiX workshops (4-6 online meetings per year)
• Creates synergies between the HEPiX community and CERN and follow-up on topics of interest from HEPiX
• Presents the HEPiX summary at CERN (usually this is presentation done with 2 other HEPiX attendants at an IT Technical Forum event scheduled shortly after the HEPiX workshop)

This role entails travelling two times per year at the HEPiX Workshop, which takes place generally once in Europe and once in North America or Asia.

It is estimated in 10% time.
