Computing Engineer (IT-CF-SM)

Member of the Service Management section in the Computing Facilities group.

Main tasks:

• Be involved in Quality Management and Continual Improvement of services provided by the IT department
• Assure that adequate documentation and training is created and maintained for the different players in the service delivery process
• Provide support to users of the ITSM tool (ServiceNow)
• Take active part in technical evaluations and in the development of tools used for all Service Management activities 

The following experience and competences should be provided:

• Good communication skills and the ability to act with tact and discretion
• Knowledge of service management and ITIL principles
• Good knowledge of relational database technology
• Knowledge of programming techniques and languages
• Familiarity with user and service support
• Experience with team work and collaborations
• Proficient knowledge of English is required
• Knowledge of French is desirable
