The IT Department is implementing a buddy system for newcomers in the aim of facilitating their integration and fostering a sense of belonging. In order to support implementation, one Buddy System Coordinator will be appointed for an initial period of one year. The Buddy System Coordinator reports to the Talent Manager for the time they dedicate to the role.
Time: 10%
Goals:
- Support the implementation of the buddy system within the IT Department
- Evaluate the buddy system at the end of 2024
Functions:
- Onboard new buddies and new buddy managers
- Provide support and guidance to all participants in the buddy system
- Create a dedicated page on the IT website about the buddy system
- Gather feedback, review inputs and propose changes to the buddy system to IT management
We are looking for someone with the following profile, demonstrated experience/skills:
- A member of personnel with at least 2 years of membership
- Experience in Learning and sharing knowledge
- Skilled in Communicating effectively
- Apt to Building relationships
- Ability to behave, exchange and discuss at the appropriate level, outside of formal hierarchies
- Experience with a buddy system or a similar form of onboarding support aimed at social integration
